Overview
This is a remastered version of the point-and-click game "MAKIBISHI COMIC," which was first released on the web in April 2007 and became very popular. 17 years later, it is now available on the Steam store.
The world view and atmosphere of the time are retained, but retaken for the PC game.
It once again offers nostalgic memories, regrets of not being able to complete the game, and for the completely new player, an experience of the highest absurdity and strangeness.
"MAKIBISHI COMIC" was not just a game, but an experimental interactive content. It offered an experience akin to a work of art.
Players were immersed in its unique worldview, gaining new perspectives and sensations along with its absurdity and strangeness.
By revisiting the experience, you will be able to appreciate not only the game aspect of it, but also its artistic and experimental nature.
About "MAKIBISHI COMIC"
MAKIBISHI COMIC is a point-and-click "Find 5 Ninjas" game released on the web in April 2007.
The game features a strange and unique world view, various gimmicks, and interactions.
Since its release, the game has been featured in media and magazines both domestically and internationally, won numerous awards, and has been played by more than 10 million people around the world.
In 2009, it was ported and released as an application for iPhone and iPod Touch by Gungho Games.
And two and a half years after its release, it was no longer available on the web.
How to play
The player, as an Assassin, is tasked with finding the five hidden ninjas.
The controls are very simple: click on the area of interest on the screen to animate the mechanism, and the world of Makibishi Comics comes alive.
Beyond that world in motion, the ninjas are hidden. Players are challenged to find the cleverly hidden ninjas.
